Booktube-A-Thon 2017 Wrap Up

hahaha Welp, that was an utter failure…

Like I suspected, taking care of a new puppy took up most of my energy and reading time this week (She’s totally worth the sacrifice though). Plus, I kept getting distracted by the batshit crazy political news here in the US.

All this to say, I only read one book from my Booktube-A-Thon TBR list. I didn’t even open any of the other three.

My book completed the challenges:

1. Read a book with a person on the cover

4. Read about a character that is very different from you

I absolutely loved Sofia Khan is Not Obliged by Ayisha Malik. It was incredibly funny, surprisingly sweet, and exactly what I needed this week. So I guess this readathon wasn’t such a failure after all!

I will probably save The Essex Serpent and The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue for some upcoming readathons- hopefully ones I will be more successful at!

Did you participate in this year’s Booktube-A-Thon? How did it go?
