Stacking the shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality all about sharing the books we are adding to our shelves, whether physical or virtual.
This week I’ve added books by two of my favorite comfort read authors.
With everything happening in the world, I may have to start one of these sooner than later…
The Talisman Ring, The Foundling, Cousin Kate by Georgette Heyer
I took advantage of the ebook sale in honor of Georgette Heyer’s birthday, to add these titles not already on my kindle app. The Talisman Ring sounds like a comedic gem, and I’m intrigued by the gothic elements in Cousin Kate-even if it is a less popular Heyer novel.
My Brother Michael, The Moon Spinners, Stormy Petrel by Mary Stewart
I ordered these three, used Mary Stewart novels from Abebooks. I love getting lost in her wonderfully-wrtiten, suspenseful stories. Now I just have to decide which one to read first!
What have you been stacking your shelf with lately?
I’ve headed to the library this morning. I’m definitely planning to stock up on some comfort reads!

Nice haul. Have yet to try a Mary Stewart. Happy reading.

I can’t call it stacking my shelf, since it’s more downloading to my kindle, but I’ve been trying to read more poetry books recently which is a good break at times from fiction!

I want to try to read more poetry too-it’s just not something I reach for as often.
