Tend to agree with your list, particularly Mr Thornton, but might also add Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind. Then I might also add Sargeant Smith of Blitzcat, which I have just read, as he is very competent, and I could do with a good handyman at the moment!

Mr. Thornton is the best. Rhett Butler would’ve been on my list in the past, but he didn’t quite make the cut this time around!

Great minds think alike! Our lists have a few of these guys in common. I definitely consider Mr. Thornton in the “honorable mention” category for my list. For some reason I was never able to completely embrace Laurie the way most Little Women fans do though. I always sort of felt that Jo was right to turn him down because they wouldn’t have made a very good couple in the long run.

I don’t think they would’ve made the best longterm couple either, but I still have a soft spot for Laurie!

Who WOULDN’T love Mr. Darcy, seriously? I just watched the 2005 and it was equally as rewarding as all the times before!

Right?! The 2005 P&P is one of my favorite comfort watches too

I will ALWAYS want to watch it. Man, it’s just So. Good! I recently watched it and was reminded of the humor. And Matthew Macfayden… *swoon*
