  1. Tend to agree with your list, particularly Mr Thornton, but might also add Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind. Then I might also add Sargeant Smith of Blitzcat, which I have just read, as he is very competent, and I could do with a good handyman at the moment!

  2. Great minds think alike! Our lists have a few of these guys in common. I definitely consider Mr. Thornton in the “honorable mention” category for my list. For some reason I was never able to completely embrace Laurie the way most Little Women fans do though. I always sort of felt that Jo was right to turn him down because they wouldn’t have made a very good couple in the long run.
