Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality all about sharing the books we are adding to our shelves, whether physical or virtual.
This week I’ve hit the Edelweiss ARC jackpot…
The creepy-sounding The Silent Companions by Laura Purcell has been one of my most-anticipated new releases, and I am so excited to have a copy waiting on my kindle. I’m going to try to save this one to devour a little closer to Halloween, but I may cave and read it sooner. It sounds like such an atmospheric read and I am so looking forward to getting lost in it.
Seven Days of Us by Francesca Hornak is another book I’ve been dying to get my hands on. This contemporary British family drama set during Christmas sounds super entertaining. I’m planning to read this one around the holidays and hope it will be as good as it sounds.
Last but not least, I downloaded the buzzed about How to Stop Time by Matt Haig. This novel about a man who has lived for centuries, has already been optioned as a film starring Benedict Cumberbatch. I’m excited to journey from Medieval Europe, to Jazz-Age Paris, to present-day London.
**A huge thank you to Edelweiss and the publishers for the opportunity to read and review these three lovely ARCS!**
What book(s) have you stacked your shelf with lately?
I’ve been eyeing Seven Days of Us. Thanks for sharing, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
