WWW Wednesdays- October 25, 2017

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The three W’s are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Ahhhh, I can’t believe it’s almost November! I still have so much reading I want to complete this month…

Currently Reading:

After talking about it forever, I’m finally reading The Essex Serpent, and I’m completely head over heels about this book. I’m loving it even more than I had hoped-and I had incredibly high expectations. I’m also really enjoying Lady Audley’s Secret. It’s such a fun, over-the-top read, and I’m so happy I chose it for #Victober. My goal is to finish both of these this week. At this point, I don’t see myself finishing the delightful Miss Marjoribanks before the end of #Victober. This one will just have to spill over into November.

Recently Finished:

Last week, I finished the historical gothic novel Dragonwick by Anya Seton. It made for perfect light reading and I really enjoyed the suspenseful plot and Seton’s characters. I read the perfectly creepy novel, The Silent Companions, during Dewey’s 24 Hour #Readathon over the weekend. It was so atmospheric and unputdownable. If you’re still looking for a great Halloween read, this would be a perfect option!

Reading Next:

I hope to start the Murder on the Orient Express soon as part of my RIP XII challenge. I’m also hoping to read George Eliot’s novella, The Lifted Veil, as part of that challenge and as my third #Victober book.

Basically, I have my reading cut out for me this week!

What have you been reading lately?
