After taking a break for a few months, I’m back this week with a new Sunday Salon post.
Here’s some of what I’ve been reading on the Internet lately:
-Art always has a story to tell if you know how to look for it. Case in point: these Secrets Hidden on the Backs of Famous Artworks (via Artsy).
-Refinery29 discusses the fascinating and changeable History of Pink- From Masculine to Millennial
-It’s time for all the Fall Book Lists! Bustle has compiled a list of 13 Fiction Books Coming Out in September. I can’t wait for Transcription and The Silence of the Girls. Which one(s) are you looking forward to?
-Rebecca Traister weighs in on the latest #MeToo news about the attempted comebacks of Louis CK and Matt Lauer, in her essay Too Much, Too Soon.
-I enjoyed this clever playlist over at The Pool, that imagines the songs Henry VIII’s six wives would play if they formed a girl group.
