Stacking the Shelves- 9/8/18

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality all about sharing the books we are adding to our shelves, whether physical or virtual.

This week, I’m sharing three very different eBooks I’ve bought over the past month.

I’ve been wanting to read a Graham Greene book, and The End of the Affair seems like an excellent place to start. After all, I can’t resist novels set in London during the Blitz. I’m also looking forward to watching the film adaptation once I’ve read this modern classic.

Impossible Saints by Clarissa Harwood has been on my radar since I created my Suffragette Book List. When I spotted it on sale, I had to add it to my Kindle library. It sounds like a gripping work of historical fiction with complex characters and a memorable love story.

I’m a big fan of the Lore podcast and thought the accompanying book, The World of Lore: Monstrous Creatures by Aaron Mahnke, would be fun to check out. It’s sure to make for perfect R.I.P XIII reading!

Have you read any of these? What book(s) have you added to your shelf lately?

    1. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, Rachel! Your plan to re-read it now that you’re familiar with the area sounds like a perfect idea. Hope you’ll enjoy it even more this time!

    1. Thanks, Barb! The Lore series does seem like it would be more enjoyable in physical editions. If I love this first one, I may have to get the rest as hard copies too!
