The second round of the Persephone Readathon is right around the corner!
The fun kicks off Friday, September 21st and lasts through Sunday, September 30th, 2018.
If you’ll be joining in, please sign up with the link button below. (You can link to your blog or social media account, and/or a specific readathon sign-up/TBR post)
This will be a laid back readathon; read as much or as little as you’d like. The goal is simply to enjoy reading and discussing all things Persephone Books.
You can find additional info about the readathon on my Persephone Readathons Page.
Be sure to share your readathon experience and follow along with #PersephoneReadathon on social media as well.
If you know what you’ll be reading, feel free to let us know in the comments!
I’m in! I think I’ve added my link but I’m not sure it worked so commenting too just in case. Thanks for organising Jessie, I’m really looking forward to everyone’s Persephone posts!

I just signed up. I think I’m going for Saplings by Noel Streatfield this time around. I loved Streatfield’s “Shoes” books as a kid, and I’m anxious to read some of her work aimed at older readers. Looking forward to starting!

I’m looking forward to this. Possible titles are Mariana by Monica Dickens or Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day by Winifred Watson or A House in the Country by Jocelyn Playfair. I’ll decide which one when I start reading.

Excellent choices!! I absolutely adored Mariana and Miss Pettigrew (my first introduction to Persephone), and I’m considering reading A House in the Country during this readathon as well. Look forward to seeing which one you pick!

I’m looking forward to joining in with this again. I think I’m going to be reading Harriet by Elizabeth Jenkins this time.

Yay! Harriet is one of the books I’m considering reading as well. It sounds both gripping and disturbing.
