It’s a truth universally acknowledged, that a readathon is more fun with a few challenges…
For those interested, I’ve put together a list of ten optional challenges that can be completed at any point during the event. Feel free to do as many or as few as you’d like.
You can share your responses on your blog, on social media with #PersephoneReadathon, and/or in the comments of the readathon open posts.
Photogenic Persephones: Share a photo of your Persephone collection and/or your readathon TBR stack.
Beautiful Endpapers: Show us a photo of your current book’s endpapers/your favorite Persephone endpapers/or design your own endpapers.
In Six Words: Describe your current Persephone read in 6 words.
Quote This: Share a quote from your current read.
Persephone Pairings: Suggest a recipe/drink/snack that you think would pair well with a specific Persephone title.
Well-Dressed: Choose a print from your closet (or from around the house) that would make excellent Persephone endpapers.
Contemporary Pairing: Pair a contemporary book with a Persephone title.
Cover Art: A Persephone book of your choice is set to become the next Persephone Classic. Choose a work of art to adorn the cover.
Persephone Playlist: Create a playlist to accompany a Persephone book (or simply share a song).
Page to Screen: Share the Persephone title you would most like to see adapted for the screen. Include your dream cast if you’d like.
Hope you have fun with these!
