Bout of Books #24 Update: Days 1 & 2

Here’s what I got up to on days one and two of Bout of Books #24:

What is Bout of Books?

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 24 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

  1. I definitely wanted to participate in Bout of Books this January (it’s on my reading calendar!) but I just couldn’t make it work. I guess I’ll be living vicariously through you instead. XD

Oh doggos. They never want us to read, they always want attention. Tell me about your dog! Name, breed, age, etc. I’m super curious.

    1. Sorry it didn’t work out for you this time, Jackie! Hopefully you can make it work for the next Bout of Books; it’s always a fun readathon.

It’s so true about dogs and reading. Unless they’re ready for their nap that is! My sweet and silly pup is a 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Millie. She’s scary smart, playful, shy/timid, acrobatic, and very curious/nosy. There’s never a dull moment with her around, but she usually tries her hardest to be a good girl!
      What about you- any dogs?
