January really is the perfect month for readathons. I’m so excited to participate in one of my favorites on this cold and dreary weekend: the 24 in 48 Readathon.
I’m not going to attempt to read for the full 24 hours, but I do plan on completing several challenges and reading as much as possible.
Below you’ll find all my updates over the course of the readathon
I’m kicking things off with my current read: Transcription by Kate Atkinson, and will see what I’m in the mood for after that.
Wrap-Up:
I had a lot of fun participating in this round of #24in48.
I managed to finish four books: Transcription by Kate Atkinson, Nutshell by Ian McEwan, The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories by Angela Carter, and Call Me by Your Name by André Aciman. I also completed two challenges. My total reading time clocked in at 17 hours and 36 minutes. Till next time!
good luck!!

I really liked The Bloody Chamber! I liked some stories better than others. I think my favorite is the title story.
I also did 24in48! My first time with this readathon.

I agree with you completely about The Bloody Chamber, Beth! The title story was by far my favorite, and while there were a few stories I didn’t enjoy as much, I really loved Carter’s writing. I hope you enjoyed your first 24 in 48!!
