  1. What a lot of lovely viewing! I didn’t realise the Miss Fisher series was based on books, must look them out! Isn’t Grantchester fantastic?


  2. Great list! I love The Durrells in Corfu, The Paradise, Grantchester, Bleak House and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (the series). The only novel I’ve read so far is Bleak House, but I hope to rectify that soon!


  3. War and Peace is… not my favorite book in the world but I’ve heard the series is so good! Thanks for reminding me I still need to watch that!


  4. That version of Bleak House is possibly my favourite Dickens adaptation of all – such a fantastic cast! And I loved Lark Rise to Candleford. I have it on DVD and it’s perfect comfort viewing for grey days… 😀


  5. I really liked your twist to this week’s prompt. Good job on it. Do you tend to prefer period pieces set in the 1800s/early 1900s?

  6. Great list, Jessie! I also loved watching Bleak House, Poldark, The Paradise, War & Peace, Lark Rise to Candleford and Parade’s End. The only one I have read though is Bleak House.
