Discussion Question #2

If you collect Persephone Books, how do you organize them? By title, author, Persephone number?

As for me, I shelve my grey Persephone books in order of their Persephone number/release, and group my Persephone Classics together.

    1. I like the idea of separating them based on the ones you’ve read and the ones TBR. I don’t know that the my numbered order will work long term, but it’s enjoyable for now.

  1. I shelve all my Persephone books together on a bookcase I got a tradesman in to build. They aren’t in number order yet, that’s a job I have been putting off. I have about 107 now, I shared a photo earlier today on Twitter and IG. I also have a page on my blog, for myself really, to help me remember which ones I need. I have got to the point where I would like to collect them all eventually.

  2. There is something lovely about those gray books. I, too, keep them in a special section of my bookcase. I don’t have many, but I keep them in alphabetical order by author. I do still have one Dorothy Whipple to read on my shelf. I hope to get to it soon!

  3. Mine are in my living room bookcase – the one for my favorite books, where I can admire them and get so much please from seeing them every day. Numbering trumps author alpha for me.

  4. My dove-grey books are in alphabetical order by author, all the Persephone classics are at the end. I do have a few Persepones in older editions and they’re alphabetized by author with the other books. About half my books are in storage so they’ll be reunited in a few months after we move to our next house.
