Stacking the Shelves- 4/21/18

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality all about sharing the books we are adding to our shelves, whether physical or virtual.

It’s been almost a month since my last Stacking the Shelves post, and I’ve added two eBooks and one paperback to my shelves:

Connie Willis was one of my favorite author discoveries of 2017, and I’m excited to explore more of her work. Crosstalk will be the first of her standalone novels (ie. not in the Oxford Time Travel series) that I pick up, and I’m very curious to see if I will enjoy it as much.

I’ve been interested in The Power by Naomi Alderman since its release, and couldn’t resist the recent Kindle deal. Based on all of the reviews I’ve read, I have a feeling I’m going to love the premise of this novel more than its execution, but I’m very glad to have it on my digital shelf.

I want to read more Atwood this year, and The Blind Assassin has been on my wish list for a while. I ordered a secondhand copy from AbeBooks, and look forward to finally reading it in the next few months.

Have you read any of these? What book(s) have you been adding to your shelves lately?
