Mini Persephone Readathon Sign-Up

It’s almost June, which means it’s almost time for the Mini Persephone Readathon!

The weekend-long Mini Persephone Readathon will run from Friday, June 1st to Sunday, June 3rd, 2018.

This will be a laid back readathon; read as much or as little as you’d like. The goal is simply to enjoy reading and discussing all things Persephone Books.

You can find additional info about the readathon on my Persephone Readathons Page.

If you’ll be joining me for a weekend of Persephone reading, please be sure to sign up with the link button below.

Be sure to share your readathon experience and follow along with #PersephoneReadathon on social media as well.

I’m still deciding which book I’ll be picking up, but right now I’m leaning towards The Village by Marghanita Laski or The Far Cry by Emma Smith.

If you know what you’ll be reading, feel free to share it with us in the comments!

I’m awfully tempted, but I’m rubbish at joining in things. I shall have to see what’s on the TBR by way of Persephone titles…

I’ve signed up! I’ll be looking at Daddy’s Gone A-hunting by Penelope Mortimer and Lady Rose and Mrs Memmary by Ruby Ferguson. I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone reads 🙂

Sounds great! I read Lady Rose and Mrs. Memmary during February’s readathon and really enjoyed it. Hope you do too!

I’m in! I’ve got Saplings by Noel Streatfield on my classics list, so what a good reason to read it next!

I’m in. I think I’m going to go with either Cheerful Weather For the Wedding or Miss Pettigrew Lives for A Day, since they’ve both been on my TBR forever. I haven’t decided which yet.

Yay! I really loved both Cheerful Weather and Miss Pettigrew, and don’t think you can go wrong with either.

I suppose a lot depends on how much time I have that weekend. I think Cheerful Weather looks like I can make it through in a day or so, whereas Miss Pettigrew could take a little longer.

I missed the first one but I’m not sure about that weekend. If I can figure out how to wriggle in and around the other stacks, I would like to read Gwenthalyn Graham’s Earth and High Heaven or Marghanita Laski’s Little Boy Lost or Elisabeth Sanxay Holding’s The Blank Wall. They’ve been lingering here, unread, for years.

Hopefully it will work out since that looks like a great TBR list to choose from! I’ve only read Little Boy Lost, but I really enjoyed it.

I’m glad you’ll be participating, Helen! I recently finished Mariana and absolutely loved it; so now I can’t wait to read more of Monica Dickens’ work. Look forward to hearing what you think of The Winds of Heaven!

My second readathon, ’cause last week’s Bout of Books was so fun! I’ve picked “Diary of a Provincial Lady” by E. M. Delafield. It’s a very British comedy from 1930. https://booktapestry.blogspot.com/2018/05/mini-persephone-readathon.html
