After enlisting your help in deciding what I should read for the Mini Persephone Readathon, the votes are in….
I’m thrilled to be reading The Village by Marghanita Laski this weekend. This will be my second Laski novel, having read Little Boy Lost during February’s longer readathon.
Thanks to everyone who voted! The Village was way ahead for much of the beginning, but things did tighten up a little bit towards the end. I’m sure I’ll be picking up The Far Cry in the near future too.
The Village also happens to have some of my favorite #BeautifulEndpapers:
I can’t wait to start reading!
Hooray! This is the one I voted for, I’ll be really interested to see what you make if it.
